Sterjovski announces youthful Northbridge Bulls line-up

Former Socceroo Mile Sterjovski has officially announced his Northbridge Bulls National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s squad set to tackle the state’s best with the competition kicking off at the end of the month.

The Bulls coach has announced a young squad full of rising young stars as Sterjovski prepares for what will be a huge year for the club who will play all of its home matches at the Fairfield Showgrounds.

“We are looking at being a very competitive team with a strong focus on developing our players to help aid them getting to the next level," he told nplnsw.com.au

“I expect the players to have a winning mentality because you definitely need it to make it as a professional footballer.”

The youthful Bulls will feature a couple of well known NPL NSW Men’s rising young guns with former Marconi Stallions midfielder Lachlan Sepping as well as lethal strikers Bul Juach and Emmanuel Peters on the club’s books.

Former Sydney Olympic players Theph Theph and Giovanni Panuccio have also signed with the Bulls.

One player who looms to be the one to watch will be former Western Sydney Wanderers NPL excitement machine Rory Jordan.

The 20-year-old had a breakout season with the Wanderers during their time in the shortened 2020 NPL NSW Men’s competition which caught the attention of a couple of overseas suitors, one being English club Salford City.

The attacker will no doubt form a lethal combination with both Juach and Peters set to play at the heart of Sterjovski’s attack.

Luke Cukar, Stephen De Robillard, Niko Ujdur, Eddie Caspers, Brodie Clarkson, Jack McLoughlan, Keanu Ismic, Ryan Wood, Sean Eve, Diego Bonilla and Jake Jovanovski will also be wearing the Northbridge Bulls colours this season.

The club, formerly known as the North Shore Mariners, will take on the Sutherland Sharks at the Fairfield Showgrounds in round 1 of the NPL NSW Men’s competition on Saturday 27th of February to kick-off their 2021 season.
