A host of NPLW South Australia stand-outs will ply their trade with Adelaide United in the upcoming Westfield W-League season.
The Reds have confirmed no less than eight players in recent weeks have been signed from the local competition.
Headlining the signings are returning trio of Emily Condon, Dylan Holmes, and Isabel Hodgson, who proved standouts in a largely up-and-down last campaign for the Reds.
Utility player Condon, 22, most recently plied her trade with Salisbury Inter and is aiming to add to her 60 Westfield W-League appearances with Adelaide this summer.
Midfielder Holmes, who has accumulated 31 appearances for the Reds, linked with Premiers Adelaide City during the winter months and netted 10 goals in 12 league games.
Winger Hodgson, 24, was also part of City’s squad through their largely successful NPLW SA campaign and returns to the Reds for a second straight season.

The Reds’ Head of Women’s Football, Ivan Karlović, told adelaideunited.com.au that he expects more big things from the trio.
“Emily, Dylan, and Isabel have worked incredibly hard during their off season and I know how determined they’re to experience a successful W-League season,” he said.
“Their leadership and commitment to the Club is outstanding as we begin to retain the core of the squad which we have been establishing over the last few years as we build towards achieving finals football.”
There will also be plenty of other faces familiar to NPLW SA fans at the Reds in the upcoming season.
A further three of City’s Premiership winners will also link with the squad in the form of Georgia Campagnale, Chelsie Dawber and Matilda McNamara.
Campagnale, 23, ranks second in United’s all-time appearances list with 61 Westfield W-League matches, having been with the Reds since 2014.
20-year-old striker Dawber returns to the Reds after winning the club’s Rising Star award last season and tearing apart rivals in South Australia with 33 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old defender McNamara returns after proving a vital lynchpin to City’s backline and told adelaideunited.com.au she is aiming to build on her four Westfield W-League appearances last season.
“I’m very happy and excited to re-sign for this new season and can’t wait to get started with the girls. I think it’s going to be a really good year for us,” she said.
“Individually, I want to get a lot more minutes under my belt and I feel this is our group’s best chance to make finals, which we’re aiming for - and nothing less.”
Also returning to the Reds from the local scene are fullbacks Emily Hodgson and Laura Johns – with the West Adelaide pair proving big contributors to their side’s third place finish in NPLW SA in the recently completed season.
Salisbury Inter shot-stopper Sian Fryer-McLaren will also be part of the Reds after signing on for a third stint with the club.
