Bojic comes out of retirement, signs with NPL NSW strugglers

Former Hyundai A-League star Pedj Bojic has come out of retirement to sign for NPL NSW club Hakoah Sydney City East.

Bojic, 35, played 145 times in the Hyundai A-League for Central Coast Mariners and Sydney FC.

During his time at the Mariners, the fullback won the Premiership (2011/12) and the Championship (2012/13).

He began his career at Parramatta Power in the 2000/01 season, playing for Sydney Olympic before moving abroad to Northampton Town, where he would win promotion to League One in 2005/06.

Bojic could be available for Hakoah – currently bottom of the NPL NSW ladder with seven points from 11 games – for the club’s must-win clash with Sydney FC on Saturday.
