Bankwest Stadium to host 2019 NPL NSW Men’s Grand Final

In a massive coup for Football NSW, Bankwest Stadium will host the 2019 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s Grand Final on Saturday 31st of August.

The state-of-the-art 30,000 seat stadium in Parramatta will provide the perfect setting for the final of New South Wales top tier men’s competition with First Grade, Under 20’s and under 18’s games all scheduled for the big day.

Football NSW CEO Stuart Hodge was proud to bring NPL NSW Men’s football’s showpiece games to Bankwest Stadium.

“It is exciting for everyone involved in NSW football to be able to host our top tier men’s competition at the state’s premier football venue.

“Football NSW is dedicated to showcasing our competitions and this grand final event will be a crowning moment at the end of what has been a stellar season.

“How can you not be excited with the news that our clubs will play in one of Australia’s best new stadiums?

“It will be an amazing experience for the players and spectators alike.

“With so much at stake and with the record interest our NPL NSW competitions, it’s only natural that we play a big event at such a complete facility such as Bankwest Stadium.

Bankwest Stadium CEO Daryl Kerry said the Stadium was delighted to be hosting Football NSW’s premier Men’s event.

“The National Premier Leagues New South Wales Grand Final Day has become a special day on the football calendar and it will be bigger and better than ever in the 30,000-seat Bankwest Stadium.

“This is a Stadium that has been built for the fans and the event experience was front of mind during the design process. Fans will immediately notice how close their seats are to the action and the steeper grandstand design, but there are a number of other initiatives that will make a day at the football easier and a lot of fun.

“Good luck to all teams vying for those grand final spots on what will be a huge day for Football NSW and the National Premier Leagues New South Wales competition.”

Whilst the teams are yet to be decided, preparations are well underway to ensure the showcase event on the NPL NSW Men’s calendar is not to be missed.

To celebrate the news, Sydney Olympic’s Spanish sensation Alejandro Sanchez, Marconi Stallions’ former A-League star Mitch Mallia and current Golden Boot leader and Wollongong Wolves ace marksman Thomas James were on location during the announcement as each player hopes to be there come Grand Final day on Saturday 31st of August.
