WA champions ready for national stage

They have won everything there is to win in WA football this year. The question now is can Bayswater City take this success onto the big stage of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Finals Series.

Bayswater City wrapped up a fourth trophy last weekend when David Heagney scored the only goal in their National Premier Leagues WA Grand Final win over Perth SC at Dorrien Gardens.

But the show rolls on this Saturday when NPL South Australia champions North Eastern MetroStars attempt to upset the locals at Frank Drago Reserve in a Playstation 4 National Premier Leagues Finals Series Elimination Final.

The winner of this weekend’s match, which kicks off at 2pm local time, will progress to a semi-finals encounter against either South Hobart or South Melbourne, who will play at 11.30am (WA time) on Saturday.

The PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Finals Series winner will qualify for next year’s Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32.

Bayswater won the Night Series, Cool Ridge Cup, NPL WA league title and Grand Final this season.
