In a signficant coup, Football Federation SA (FFSA) and Triple M have signed a significant agreement that will see Triple M become the radio partner of the PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia in 2016.
FFSA is thrilled to be associated with Triple M, renowned for their coverage and promotion of sport and look forward to developing a strong, long-term partnership with the station.
The partnership with Triple M will see a weekly video podcast produced and distributed via Triple M and FFSA social media channels. A radio advertisement campaign will also be incorporated to support the podcast, which will further promote and bring awareness to the highly competitive local game.
A key strategy of FFSA is to increase the profile of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues and acclaimed Triple M shows such as the Roo & Ditts Breakfast Showand Rush Hour with Jars & Lewie provide such an avenue.
FFSA Chief Executive Officer Michael Carter believes that the partnership is a substantial step forward for the competition and the sport in South Australia.
“Having the local NPL competitions advertised on a commercial radio station was a key strategy for Football Federation SA. The local NPL competition is underrated and deserved of greater recognition. Triple M is a great partner and we are delighted to announce our partnership.”
The first ‘vod-cast’ will air this coming Thursday via Triple M’s Facebook Page featuring Triple MBreakfast presenter Chris Dittmar and former Socceroo Travis Dodd, who will compete in the PlayStation 4 NPL this season.
Triple M Adelaide General Manager James Pedersen saidthat the partnership aligns well with the stations market.
“Triple M is fiercely local with a strong sporting DNA. Given the passion our on-air talent have for the game and the high quality of the NPL this partnership is a great fit for us. Look out for all of Ditts’ West Torrens Birkalla mentions!”
