South look to turn the heat up on City in SA

It may only be Round 3 of PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia but this weekend's match between the winless South Adelaide and Adelaide City already puts pressure on the loser.

Raiders v West Adelaide

West Adelaide travel to the Croatian Sports Centre to take on Raiders in Round 3 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues South Australia.

The visitors currently sit in fourth place and are full of confidence coming off the back of a 4-2 win against West Torrens Birkalla, while the home side have not played since round one after last week’s clash with South Adelaide was postponed.

MetroStars v Campbelltown City

Rivals MetroStars and Campbelltown City will be aiming to build on successes last weekend when they clash in Round 3 of the South Australia PlayStation4 National Premier League at TK Shutter Reserve on Saturday.

MetroStars were defeated in the season opener by Croydon, but responded on Monday with a 1-0 win against Adelaide Comets. Matthew Deegan’s goal was enough to secure the points for Michael Pirone’s side.

South Adelaide v Adelaide City

Round 3 of the South Australia PlayStation4 National Premier League sees South Adelaide host Adelaide City. This match should be one to watch as both sides will be looking to claim their first win of the season.

South Adelaide haven’t played since February 15 after their round 1 loss to West Torrens Birkalla due to their round 2 match against Raiders being postponed.

Their upcoming opponents Adelaide City will look to break that fortress after coming off an entertaining 3-3 draw with White City. Nicholas Bucco was the standout performer after bagging an impressive hat trick.

Croydon Kings v Modbury Jets

Croydon Kings meet Modbury Jets in the round 3 fixture of the South Australia PlayStation4 National Premier League this Saturday at Polonia Reserve.

The teams had vastly different starts to the season with Modbury losing and Croydon winning their first two matches of the season.

In a rematch of last year’s grand final, Croydon defeated the Metro Stars 2-1, which was followed up with a 4-2 win over the Pirates.
