Prior to his first stint down under Puyo had amassed almost 200 professional appearances across the top three French leagues most notably with French first tier outfit Angers SCO and Amiens SC in Ligue 2.

After missing out on finals football in 2022 with a sixth placed finish Rockdale are seeking a surge back up the ladder under new Head Coach Paul Dee.

Dee has managed to hold onto several of the key figures of last season, including Alex Urosevski, who scored 20 goals in 2022, while also adding a sprinkling of quality and experience in recruits.

Joining Puyo in the arrivals lounge at the Ilinden Sports Centre are Nikola Ujdur, Lachlan Constable and Mathieu Cordier.

Rockdale kick off their 2023 NPL NSW Men’s campaign away at Penshurst Park on Saturday night against newly promoted St George City.
