PS4 NPL WA Round 6 Review

Stirling Lions shocked Inglewood United with a 3-0 win in round six of the PS4 National Premier Leagues WA at Inglewood Stadium on Saturday.

A penalty converted by David Micevski in the 27th minute and two second half goals from Teeboy Kamara in the 57th and 85th was enough for Stirling to slam the home side that was down to 10 men.

Inglewood coach Taki Nicolaidis said the missed chances early on only sealed his side’s fate.

“If you can’t score goals with 10 men or not, then you can’t win games,” he said.

“We just weren’t clinical enough.”

Sorrento extended their unbeaten run to six games as they comfortably ran out 3-1 winners against Cockburn City at Dalmatinac Park.

Balcatta claimed bragging rights against traditional rivals Perth Soccer Club with a 4-3 win at Grindleford Reserve.

Floreat Athena’s fine form continued with a 4-1 win against ECU Joondalup at E&D Litis Stadium.

Two late strikes helped Perth Glory to a 2-1 win over Subiaco at Ashfield Arena, while Bayswater City bounced back from two defeats with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Armadale at

Finance 365 Stadium.
