Oakleigh has earned its first points of the PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria season after securing a vital away win over Avondale FC in a 2-1 thriller.

Five-star Paco plunders Thunder

A devastating recovery has seen Pascoe Vale trump Dandenong Thunder 5-2 at Hosken Reserve on Friday night.

Dandenong raced out of the blocks by scoring 34 seconds in, before Paco knocked in five goals to put the game beyond sight. A late Thunder goal was nothing more than a consolation.

Ahmed Yusuf kicked off proceedings only seconds after the kick off itself, shocking the home side with a delightful finish into the bottom corner.

Bentleigh breaks Knights' win streak

Bentleigh Greens have replaced Melbourne Knights at the top of the NPL Victoria table after Tyson Holmes' brace led them to a 3-0 win at Knights Stadium on Thursday night.

Holmes opened the scoring with an excellent 15-yard volley just before the half-hour mark, and doubled the advantage in the 59th minute.

Fellow Queenslander Chris Lucas then netted from a tight angle just two minutes later to seal Bentleigh's big win.

Late Lujic double earns South the win over Gully

South Melbourne remains undefeated in the PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria 2015 season after a 2-0 win over Green Gully at Green Gully Reserve on Saturday afternoon.

Milos Lujic’s brace was enough to secure the three points after a dramatic end to the match, which saw South Melbourne’s Tim Mala sent off.

Port proves too good, putting four past North Geelong

A brace from Trent Rixon in the first half has helped Port Melbourne to a 4-0 thumping of North Geelong at Elcho Park today.

Two first-half strikes from the former Northcote City forward gave the Sharks a 2-0 buffer at the break, before goals from Ryan Oppermann and Alan Kearney rubbed salt into the Warriors’ wounds.

Heidelberg cruises past 10-man Northcote

Heidelberg United has brushed past a 10-man Northcote City, claiming a 2-0 win at John Cain Memorial Reserve.

Les Doumbalis smashed home a rocket minutes into the contest, before Northcote’s comeback was made harder as Marino Gasparis was sent off on the stroke of half time for handballing Kaine Sheppard’s goalbound shot, with Dan Heffernan converting the penalty.
