PS4 NPL South Australia Review: Round 4

West Adelaide and Para Hills both won thrillers while Modbury and South Adelaide still search for their first wins of the season after four rounds in PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia.

Croydon Kings 1

Adelaide Blue Eagles 1

Reigning champions Croydon Kings were held to a 1-1 draw against ladder leaders Adelaide Blue Eagles in their Round 4 fixture at Polonia Reserve on Saturday night.  

The Kings took the lead in the 70th minute through Michael Doyle with the Blue Eagles equalising in the form of goal-getter Kym Harris with seven minutes to spare.

Para Hills 4

Raiders 3

Para Hills snatched their first win of the season with a thrilling 4-3 win over Raiders in round four of the South Australian Playstation4 National Premier League. 

Joseph Tripodi broke the deadlock for the home side from the first shot of the game inside the opening five minutes, when he got on the end of a low driven cross by Jacob Williams who had gone on a solo run down the right wing.

Modbury Jets 1

Adelaide Comets 5

Adelaide Comets recorded a third win of the season thanks to a 5-1 result against Modbury in Round 4 of the South Australia PlayStation4 National Premier League at Jet Park on Saturday.

Patrick Deruvo and Jack Bladen had Comets two goals to the good just past the hour mark, as Modbury defender Tim Henderson saw red. The Jets pulled a goal back through Andrew Lindsay, but Comets romped home in the final 10 minutes thanks to a hat-trick from John Karatzas.

In other Round 4 matches, West Adelaide won a five goal thriller 3-2 over Adelaide City,  WT Birkalla and MetroStars drew 1-1, South Adelaide lost 2-0 at home to White City, and Campbelltown City put five past Pirates in a 5-2 result.
