PS4 NPL South Australia Review: Round 23

Adelaide Blue Eagles threw their hat into the ring for a top two finish as they put four past West Torrens Birkalla in Round 23 of PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia.

Croydon Kings defeated White City 4-1 in emphatic fashion to move into second place on the table after the completion of Round 23. Andreas Wiens continuing his purple patch with two beautiful first half goals in the first fifteen minutes giving them a good lead into the second half.

Birkalla came into the round equal top with West Adelaide, but the loss has seen them fall to fourth place, behind Blue Eagles on goal difference.

Wiens’ first came at the thirteenth minute mark. After carefully chesting down Nathan Farrell’s beautifully timed ball into the box, Wiens slotted the ball it into the back of the net.

Adelaide Comets stunned Adelaide City to secure an important 1-0 win in Round 23 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League South Australia at Adelaide City Park on Saturday.

Davide Zerillo netted the only goal of the game six minutes before the interval to put Comets ever closer to securing their place in the top flight.
