PS4 NPL SA Round 7 Preview

Cumberland United host the league leaders this weekend in a bid to lift themselves from the relegation zone.

Cumberland United v Adelaide Comets

A change in the coach’s box always brings renewed enthusiasm within the playing group, as was displayed by Cumberland United in their last outing.

The Foxes will need to bring the same energy this week when they host league leaders Adelaide Comets, if they are to give themselves any chance of causing an upset, in their Round 7 PlayStation 4 National Premier League encounter at A,A Bailey Reserve.

After an impressive 3-0 win over Blue Eagles to start the season, and a few honourable losses, Cumberland seem to have lost their way.

A change of coach has given the playing group, it seems, a new lease of life, with a fighting 2-3 loss to Olympic last week.

The Foxes came from behind to take the lead, before conceding two late goals and the match.

Croydon Kings v Campbelltown City

Croydon Kings hope to continue their fine form when they host reigning champions Campbelltown City in Round 7 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League at Polonia Reserve this Saturday.

The Kings surprisingly won 3-0 against the undefeated Adelaide City, last week, away at Adelaide City Park, to gain the valuable three points.

Kings ‘keeper Nicholas Munro explained that the team was pretty happy about the result, but assures that it will not get ahead of itself just yet.

“The group was pretty happy,” Munro said.

“We are still trying to keep our feet on the ground.”

“I think the group knows how much work is ahead of us this season.

“So, we are not getting carried away with one result, just like we didn’t get carried away with one bad result at the start of the year (5-0 loss to West Adelaide).”
