PS4 NPL SA Round 6 Preview

Football Federation SA’s annual Regional Round kicks into gear this weekend with the PlayStation 4 NPL fixture between West Adelaide and Adelaide United Youth to be held at Berri Oval.

An ambitious West Adelaide will want the three points over Adelaide United in Round 6 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues, when they travel to the Riverland on Saturday.

West Adelaide will return to National Premier League action after competing in their first Round of the Westfield FFA Cup last week. They move on to the second round of the competition courtesy of their 5-2 win over South Adelaide, in what was a superior performance by the end of the 90 minutes.

In Round 5, the side grabbed the three points over Cumberland United, while a developing Adelaide United fell 2-1 to Para Hills Knights, which means they still await their maiden victory of the season.

An undefeated West Adelaide outfit have locked in their threat to the league, with the lethal depth of quality they possess. Captain, Eli Vlassis, Ricardo Da Silva, Perry Mitris, Alex and Jonathon Rideout, and Tommy Briscoe have been the standouts of the NPL, just to name a few.

They currently sit in third position on the league standings with 11 points, in a tight top four, which includes Adelaide City and Adelaide Comets. A win over Adelaide United will give them the perfect opportunity to close in on the top two.
