WEST ADELAIDE vs. ADELAIDE BLUE EAGLES

Where: Adelaide Shores Football Centre, West Beach Road, West Beach
When: Saturday 22 July, 3pm.
Broadcast information: 531am, Radio Italiana website, or via the TuneIn App.

With only four rounds remaining in the season, the sprint to the finals is on in earnest, and West Adelaide will be looking to cement their place in the top four when they host an Adelaide Blue Eagles side drained of confidence, in their Round 19 PS4 NPL clash.

West Adelaide – buoyed by an inspirational win over Olympic in their last outing, will be on the prowl for a vital win that will virtually secure them a finals appearance, and reward coach Phil Stubbins with a pat on the back for resurrecting West’s season, after a mid-season stumble.

After what can only be described as a horror season, Adelaide Blue Eagles, with five straight losses, find themselves relegation bound.

Their survival in the top flight will be a momentous task, as all their remaining matches will be against certain finalists. The hope for some divine intervention, and a miracle, will be their only saviour.

METROSTARS vs. ADELAIDE UNITED YOUTH

Where: TK Shutter Reserve, Fourth Avenue, Klemzig.
When: Saturday 22 July, 3pm.

Adelaide United will take on an in-form MetroStars in Round 19 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League at TK Shutter Reserve on Saturday.

The Reds put on a show against Metro back in Round 8, where they came out on top with a superb 4-1 win at The Parks Football Centre.

Pacifique Niyongabire got things running in the 12th minute with an early lead and goals to Apostolos Stamatelopoulos, Lachlan Brook and Ryan Strain slayed any hope for MetroStars.

Adelaide will hope to reincarnate the performance, but Metro have become the competition’s form team, with an FFA Cup win over Adelaide City, and they now sit in second on the table.

CROYDON KINGS vs. PARA HILLS KNIGHTS

Where: Polonia Reserve, Essex Crescent, Croydon Park
When: Saturday 22 July, 3pm.

Croydon Kings hope to get back to winning ways when they host Para Hills Knights in Round 19 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League at Polonia Reserve on Saturday.

The Kings succumbed against Campbelltown City 1-0 last week, ending their four game winning streak, which included the scalps of Adelaide City and Adelaide Comets.

The winning streak itself had been a long time coming, with the Kings showing signs of strength throughout the season.
However, for every win the Kings would suffer an immediate setback.

In fact, prior to the winning streak, Croydon only managed consecutive wins in Round 2-3.

Para Hills Knights had their own four game winning streak broken last week, losing 2-0 against MetroStars at the Paddocks.

Along with Croydon, the Knights were one of the form teams of the competition, forcing opponents into submission with their high work ethic and relentless pressure.
