PS4 NPL SA Round 15 Preview

Adelaide Blue Eagles are presented with the chance to exact immediate revenge from Wednesday night’s heavy Westfield FFA Cup defeat to Adelaide City in the latest round of PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia.

Adelaide Blue Eagles v Adelaide City

Eighth placed Blue Eagles host league leaders Adelaide City in Round 15 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues South Australia this Saturday.

Blue Eagles are coming off a 1-0 loss against second place Adelaide Comets, halting the momentum they gained from two wins against Adelaide Olympic and Cumbderland United in Rounds 12 and 13 respectively.

Adelaide City start as heavy favourites, following a 6-0 win against Adelaide United, marking their 8th consecutive League victory.

City are six points clear of second place Comets, and with only eight games left in the season, every point will be precious to finish top of the ladder.

Adelaide United Youth v Cambelltown City

Adelaide United will play host to Campbelltown City in Round 15 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues at The Parks Football Centre on Saturday.

The two worlds of Red will collide, in a roaring clash where both Clubs will want to make amends from their defeats last week.

The Young Reds fell at the hands of league leaders, Adelaide City, who proved why they are at the top with a 6-0 win at Adelaide City Park.

While The Red Devils suffered their second loss in a row, which was topped off by Alex Mullen’s hat-trick in Para Hills’ 3-2 triumph.

Adelaide United will be relishing in the opportunity to face the defending champions, Campbelltown City for a second time, given their recent improvements.

And there was no shortage of enchantment in the last meeting between the two sides, where Campbelltown expelled Adelaide United, 3-1 in Round 4.

Croydon Kings v Adelaide Olympic

Croydon Kings will play for consecutive wins when hosting Adelaide Olympic in Round 15 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League at Polonia Reserve this Saturday.

The Kings are coming off a hard-fought 1-0 win over Cumberland United, which Croydon goalkeeper Nick Munro described as “an important win for the club”.

“They (Cumberland) came out pretty hard in the first half,” Munro said.

“So basically, we had to weather the storm.

“We got into the shed at nil-all at halftime, and then we were able to play our game a bit more in the second half.

“Michael Doyle scored a pretty important goal towards the end of the game, and we were able to hang on.”
