PS4 NPL SA Round 13 Review

West Torrens Birkalla picked up a vital three points away from home at Polonia Reserve in Round 13 of PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia.

It was ‘lucky thirteen’ for West Torrens Birkalla, who travelled to Polonia Reserve for their Round 13 PlayStation 4 National Premier League encounter, looking to generate some momentum into their season, and departed the scene 2-0 conquerors over a brave Croydon Kings.

Both teams turned on an entertaining display of football, with plenty of action at both ends of the park. But it was Birkalla who profited for their solid work rate with a goal in each half of the match.

Birkalla’s midfielder Jake Monaco produced a sterling performance in Birkalla’s midfield. He had good support from Ian Kamau and Kristin Konstandopoulos who gave their forwards good service.

Adelaide United Youth v Adelaide Comets

Adelaide United made their presence known after testing second-placed Adelaide Comets in a 2-2 draw in Round 13 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues at The Parks Football Centre on Saturday.

The Reds held a steady 1-0 lead on home turf before half-time, courtesy of defender, Zak Waters, and kept the Comets scoreless for 45 minutes.

Heading into the second half, Adelaide United needed to remain focused, but Connor Gollan equalised for the hosts with a great, curling strike from the edge of the area.
