PS4 NPL SA Round 13 Preview

Croydon Kings will be looking to widen the gap between themselves and the rest of the pack below them when they play host to West Torrens Birkalla in Round 13 of PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia.

Croydon Kings v West Torrens Birkalla

The Kings were solid in their victory over West Adelaide in their last outing, the three points consolidated their position in fifth place, and keeps them in touch with the top four sides in the competition.

When these sides last met in Round 2, Croydon were able to get a late goal to bag the points at Jack Smith Park, in what was a close contest.

The two teams look even across the park, with Birkalla possibly holding sway in defence with their solid defensive pillars Adam LeCornu and Tom Dittmar. The pair have been great central stoppers all season and will be looking forward to the challenge of locking down their former team-mate Paul Radice in the Kings’ forward half.

The Kings have a plethora of players that can hit the back of the net.

Antoni Trimboli, Adrian D’Alfonso, Paul Radice, Shaun McGreevy and Rocky Visconte are imposing figures when allowed to drift close to goal.

Adelaide United Youth v Adelaide Comets

The high-flying Adelaide Comets will face a threatening Adelaide United, in Round 13 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues at The Parks Football Centre on Saturday.

Adelaide Comets sit in second on the league standings, following a great first half of the season, playing some of the best football the competition has seen thus far.

One of their stars, Andreas Wiens is the current league top goal scorer with 15 goals, and will likely prove to be the danger man come Saturday.

With an eclipsing amount of talent across the field, there is no doubt of their current position on the ladder, however, Adelaide United have proven to be ‘giant-killers’, and could challenge the Comets once again.
