PS4 NPL SA Round 11 Review

Adelaide City retained its place atop the PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia ladder after cruising to a 3-0 win over MetroStars at Adelaide City Park.

Campbelltown City v Adelaide Blue Eagles

A lone second half Campbelltown City goal was the difference that separated them from their Eastern suburbs rivals Adelaide Blue Eagles, in their PlayStation 4 National Premier League Round 11 encounter at Steve Woodcock Sports Centre on Saturday. 

In front of a large crowd in perfect conditions for football, the crowd turned out in anticipation of a good contest and both teams didn’t disappoint as they put on a great exhibition of football for their respective supporters.

West Adelaide v Croydon Kings

West Adelaide got a much needed win on Saturday as they downed Croydon Kings 3-2 in Round 11 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League South Australia.

At the start of the round, both sides sat on 11 points which left them one point outside of the bottom two. At the conclusion, West Adelaide are now only a point outside of the top six.

A double from Perry Mitris and a third from Hikaru Tanaka helped West on their way to three points, but goals from Rocky Visconte and James Skeffington made it tough.

Adelaide City v MetroStars

Nicholas Bucco netted two goals in four first-half minutes, including one from the penalty spot, to put the home side clear. Anthony Costa saw a second half penalty saved, but then sealed the victory.
