PS4 NPL Queensland set for Suncorp showcase

Saturday 25 March will see a massive double header at Suncorp Stadium as Brisbane Roar FC's PlayStation 4 NPL side take on SWQ Thunder prior to the Roar's Hyundai A-League match against Melbourne Victory.

PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland is set to be showcased at Suncorp Stadium for the first time later this month when Brisbane Roar Youth host SWQ Thunder in a huge double-header.

The two talented sides will square off on the hallowed turf prior to the Hyundai A-League club's blockbuster clash with Melbourne Victory on Saturday, 25 March.

The Round 5 fixture will kick-off at 4.10pm ahead of the second match at 6.50pm.

Originally scheduled for Clive Berghofer Stadium, the Toowoomba team will instead host the Round 16 encounter between the two teams.

Thunder, alongside Young Roar, are one of the most promising young outfits in PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland.

Fernando Garcia's side notched their first point of the season on Saturday, denied a victory only by a last-gasp equaliser from Sunshine Coast FC.

Young Roar warmed into their campaign with a hard-earned 4-3 win over Western Pride in the weekend's Round 2 action.

Brisbane Roar have announced that $1 for every ticket sold through Ticketek for the double-header will be donated to Starlight Children's Foundation.
