PS4 NPL QLD Pre-Season Wrap

Football is back with two PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland clubs facing off in the first match of their pre-season preparations.

IPSWICH | Gold Coast City made a perfect start to their pre-season after striking three second-half goals to down Western Pride 4-1 at Ipswich Grammar Fields on Sunday.

Recently re-signed attacker Daniel Dragicevic delivered the Surfsiders a single goal advantage at the half via a tap-in after Pride goalkeeper Dylan Williams failed to diffuse a cross.

However, in the second half it was the turn of the newcomers to put their best foot forward as trialling trio Curtis Stollery, Uko Martinez and Ryosuke Kawakame all pressed their claims for contracts with a goal apiece to wrap up the win.

Pride’s sole joy came early in the second stanza when Adam Endean briefly levelled terms by converting Doug Brown’s cross with a headed finish.

With the bulk of their squads yet to be confirmed for the 2017 campaign, both Pride and City fielded a number of triallists in the match.

Western Pride FC 1 (Adam ENDEAN 47’)
Gold Coast City FC 4 (Daniel DRAGICEVIC 17’, Curtis STOLLERY 52’, Uko MARTINEZ 75’, Ryosuke KAWAKAME 88’)
