An incredible four goal comeback has ensured Blacktown City top spot on the PlayStation®4 NPL NSW ladder after the completion of all the Round 2 action.
The Mark Crittenden coached side came from 3-0 down against Sutherland to win 4-3 in what was one of the weekend’s biggest results. Parramatta FC and Sydney Olympic also continued their flawless starts to the season with both clubs securing a draw.

Sydney United 58 FC 2 - Wollongong Wolves 1 at Sydney United Football Centre
Sydney United 58 secured its first win of the season in a high tempered 2-1 win against Wollongong Wolves.
Goals to Panni Nikas and Peter Triantis were the difference as Mark Rudan’s side were pushed all the way by a competitive Wolves outfit.
Wollongong threatened a late comeback when Nicholas Bernal hit the back of the net in the 68th minute but United 58 did enough to hold on in a game where multiple chances were wasted by both sides.

Sutherland Sharks 3 - Blacktown City FC 4 at Seymour Shaw
Blacktown City is quickly developing a reputation as the escape artists of the PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition.
With Sutherland three goals in front after 40 minutes, Blacktown City appeared destined for its first loss of the season.
Mark Crittenden’s side had different ideas with a Sasa Macura double as well as goals to Zach Cairncross and Travis Major cancelling out goals to Sutherland’s Nick Littler and Josh Da SIlva.

Bonnyrigg White Eagles 1 - Blacktown Spartans 2 at Bonnyrigg Sports Club
Blacktown Spartans claimed the biggest upset of Round 2 with a 2-1 win against reigning PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s Champions Bonnyrigg White Eagles.
Goals to Yianni Perkatis and Anthony Proia were the difference as the Ben De Haan coached side held on for its first win of the season.
It was a sloppy performance from Brian Brown’s Bonnyrigg side who could not find their way into the match.
An early 1-0 lead courtesy of a Yuta Kokado was the only highlight for Bonnyrigg.

Hakoah Sydney City East 0 - Rockdale City Suns 2 at Hensley Athletic
Rockdale denied PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition new boys Hakoah Sydney City East their first win in the top flight.
Second half goals to Alex Urosevski and Peter Makrillos helped Rockdale to a 2-0 win.
Hakoah was unlucky not to score as the wait for their maiden PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition win goes on.

Sydney Olympic 1 - Manly United 1 at Belmore Sports Ground
A last minute goal from Jacob Boutoubia has helped Sydney Olympic snatch a 1-1 draw in its PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s match against Manly United at Belmore Sports Ground
Boutoubia’s goal in the 91st minute equalised for Olympic as Sipan Berti’s 84th minute goal for Manly seemed more and more like a match winner.
It was a wasted opportunity for Manly with coach Paul Dee referring to the result as “two points lost and not a point won”.

PARRAMATTA FC remains unbeaten in the PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s after a 0-0 draw with APIA Leichhardt at Melita Stadium
It could've been two straight wins for the Franco Consentino coached side if not for the goalkeeping talents of APIA shot stopper Ryan Norval who saved a Marco Sama Penalty in the dying stages of the match.
It was a match of missed opportunities as both sides failed to capitalise on their chances.
The pressure will be on APIA in Round 3 to prove its premiership credentials against Bonnyrigg.
