BLUFFER’S GUIDE
With both sides producing some exceptional football in wins last weekend, this will be a tasty clash with Blacktown City FC bagging the crucial hosting rights for a home final.
Despite both recording comfortable wins in their Elimination Finals last weekend, Blacktown City FC earned the right to host after accruing one more point than Moreton Bay United using the competition’s points system to determine the hosts for the Semi Finals and Grand Final.
Mitchell Mallia, Patrick Antelmi, Travis Major and Joey Gibbs scored the goals and were threatening throughout.
Moreton Bay should be on red alert in what is a tough road trip for the classy Queenslanders.
A plus for the visitors though is the suspension of Demons playmaker Antelmi, after he was sent off on Sunday for a lunging tackle on Canberra’s James Field.
The Jets memorable season – which included winning the double in PS4 NPL Queensland - shows no signs of slowing down.
They cruised into this semi-final with a comfortable 3-1 demolition of Edgeworth with the impressive Charles Mendy, Jackson Hall and Jordan Farina getting on the scoresheet.
It will undoubtedly be a tough road trip for Adam Piddick’s side but they’ll rely on their stingy defence and pace on the counter to try pull off an upset.
Who will come out on top in this State of Origin battle?
Player to watch: Mitchell Mallia (Blacktown City)
