NPL starlet Bility joins Mabil's Midtjylland

Awer Mabil has another Aussie at FC Midtjylland after young defender Hosine Bility has gone from the South Australia NPL to the Danish Super League club.

Bility, 18, has signed a five-year deal with Midtjylland and will link up with the club’s U-19 team.

“I am proud, and incredibly humble, of the opportunity in FC Central Jutland. I was nervous when I left Australia and left my family, but I feel welcomed and surrounded by good people here, so I have no doubt that this is the right change for me and my development,” Bility said on Midtjylland’s official website.

“It is a great opportunity for me and I look forward to contributing. I want to work hard every single day and then it's up to myself to show the coach what I can offer.”

Born in Guinea but raised in Adelaide, Bility has layed with Croydon Kings in the NPL.

He first caught the eye of Midtjylland scouts playing at the All Stars Cup – an international youth football tournament – in the Czech Republic just over two years ago.

“We are very pleased that Hosine has signed a long agreement with us,” Midtjylland Sports Manager Svend Graversen said.

“He is a physically very competent player with great potential.

“We are confident that we can fulfill [his potential] in our environment. Hosine can move very much in the coming years.”
