Feature match:

Souths United v Eastern Suburbs

After a slow start to the season, Eastern Suburbs have surged up the ladder and are looking to continue their rise into the top four.

Before the COVID-enforced break Easts were in terrific form, going undefeated in six games with 28 goals scored and just one conceded to sit four points outside of the top four.

This weekend Easts come up against a Souths United side that is looking to gain some ground on league-leaders Lions FC.

The last time these two sides met, in April, Souths got the better of Easts at Heath Park.

But much as changed for Easts since then and they will be looking to reverse that result away from home.

Key players:

Deeana Thompson (Gold Coast United): Scored two goals in ten minutes to help Gold Coast beat Logan in their last outing.

Georgina Amos (Eastern Suburbs): Has been on fire this season for Easts with 18 goals in 15 games.
