New campaign launched for PS4 NPL Victoria

Football Federation Victoria today launched an exciting new campaign for the coming PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria season, Victoria's premier men's football competition.

The fresh, contemporary campaign has been designed to drive an increase in both at-ground attendance and online audience for PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria and Victorian qualifying rounds of the Westfield FFA Cup.

Raising the profile of league, particularly blockbuster games is a priority for the campaign, inspired by a number of successes from the 2016 FFV season.

A crowd of more than 5000 attended the 2016 PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria Grand Final between South Melbourne and Oakleigh Cannons in September, while an online audience of more than 10,000 watched both the Grand Final, and the Westfield FFA Cup Victorian qualifying round 7 match between Bentleigh Greens and South Melbourne in June.

FFV President Kimon Taliadoros said the 2017 season would show the growth of quality in play, entertainment and experience in PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria.

"The strength of Victoria's premier competition is vital to the overall health of football as Victoria's premier sport," Mr Taliadoros said.

"Football Federation Victoria is proud to present and promote PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria in a way that states in no uncertain terms its quality as the flagship competition of the world game in our great state.

"It is exciting to amplify the quality our fantastic NPL clubs provide to the football community. From the standard of play and coaching, to the at-ground experience, to the entertainment for our rapidly increasing online following."
