Football NSW is set to stage what will be the biggest Football4all Gala Day yet with the event taking place this Sunday at Bernie Mullane Sports Complex, Kellyville.

Football NSW is set to stage what will be the biggest Football4all Gala Day yet with the event taking place this Sunday at Bernie Mullane Sports Complex, Kellyville.

A Football NSW initiative introduced in 2009, the Football4all Gala Day aims to give people with a disability or special needs an avenue to enjoy a wonderful day of football with family and friends.

Sunday-s event will be a showpiece for all participants to enjoy with a number of guest representatives set to join in what will be a memorable day.

The amazing John Maclean will be Football NSW-s special guest and ambassador.

His remarkable story, which has been well documented, regarding his inspiration and determination in never giving up will take centre stage at Football4all this Sunday.

Also attending the event will be Hills Shire Council Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne, Western Sydney Wanderers Chairman Lyall Gorman, rising Wanderers young guns Daniel Alessi and Tom Manos, as well as player appearances from Sutherland Sharks duo Nathan Denham and Panny Nikas who will be signing autographs and taking part in what will be a fun filled day for all involved.

The official Socceroos mascot, Maloo, will make his way down to Kellyville which should prove a real hit with all our participants while the replica of the Asian Cup will also grace its presence. Both will provide fantastic photo opportunities.

Football NSW CEO Eddie Moore is proud of the ongoing development of the Football4all initiative and is eagerly anticipating a successful Football4all Gala Day this Sunday.

NOVA Employment has thrown its support behind the Gala Day for the third successive year by assisting with recruiting volunteers on the day.

NOVA Employment operate a number of programs which include the Disability Employment Service (DES), a registered training organisation (NOVA Training) and ‘Transition to Work- - a New South Wales Government initiative.

Powerchair Football will be making its second appearance at this year-s event.

It is one of the fastest growing sports for powered wheelchair users around the globe.

It will be on display with numerous teams set to compete as well as opportunities given to new players wishing to be part of this amazing spectacle.

Small-sided games have been organised for the participants along with football drills and games provide throughout the day in what will be a great day to be enjoyed by all.
