FFSA to live stream in 2015

Football Federation SA is pleased to announce that coverage of the PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia is set to increase in 2015, with live streaming being launched from Round 1.

One match per week will be streamed via the FFSA PlayStation4 NPL website in conjunction with commentary from 1629Adelaide broadcast due Paul Pelizzari and Rob Pepicelli.

The stream will also a pre-match show brought to viewers live from the host club prior to the match, including interviews and discussions on the local PlayStation4 NPL.

The first match to be live streamed will be the season opener tonight, Wednesday 11 February, between Croydon Kings and MetroStars SC.

FFSA Chief Executive Officer Michael Carter said that the introduction of live streaming will increase the coverage of football as a whole and provide the opportunity for PlayStation4 NPL clubs to showcase their clubs.

“Increasing the exposure of the Playstation4 National Premier League is of benefit to the game, hard working club delegates, players, sponsors and fans of the game throughout the country and overseas.

“The reach of the South Australian competition will be significantly increased through Internet Television. This is a major step forward for Football in the state.”

In addition to the weekly stream, a highlights package from the match will be produced for football fans to view via the FFSA Facebook page and PlayStation4 NPL Website.
