The dates, venues and kick-off times have been announced for this weekend's Semi Finals of the PlayStation 4 NPL 2016 Finals Series.
The first Semi Final will see Perth SC take on Edgeworth Eagles at Dorrien Gardens on Saturday 24 September (Kick-Off 6pm local, 8:00pm AEST).
Perth SC hit the Devonport Strikers for six in a 6-1 result to reach the last four, while Edgeworth Eagles produced a quality performance to defeat Bentleigh Greens 3-1 away from home in extra time.
The clash in Perth will be followed by the second Semi Final between Sydney United 58 FC and Brisbane Strikers on Sunday 25 September at the Sydney United Sports Centre (Kick-Off 2.30pm AEST).
A dominant Brisbane Strikers edged out Canberra Olympic 3-2 in their Elimination Final at Perry Park, with Sydney United prevailing in a nine goal classic over Adelaide City to book their spot.
Perth SC and Sydney United 58 FC earnt hosting rights for their respective semi finals after accumulating a higher number of points in their Elimination Finals (the points system to determine hosting rights for the Semi Finals and Grand Final are outlined below).
Tickets for both Semi Finals will be available at the venues on match day, while the matches will also be streamed LIVE via PlayStation 4 consoles and on www.nationalpremierleagues.com.au .

POINTS SYSTEM TO DETERMINE HOSTS OF SEMI FINALS AND GRAND FINAL
In order to determine the host Member Federation clubs for the Semi Finals and Grand Final, the following points system will apply at the conclusion of the Elimination Finals and the Semi Finals:
- Win within regulation time = 3 points
- Win during extra time = 2 points
- Win on penalty shootout = 1 point
- Goals scored (excluding penalty shootouts) = 3 points
- Goals conceded (excluding penalty shootouts) = -1 point
- Yellow cards = -1 point
- Red cards = -3 points
The host of the Grand Final will be determined by the club with the highest accumulation of points across the Elimination Finals and Semi Finals.
