Australian football great Archie Thompson has signed a short-term deal with Victorian PS4 NPL2 East club Murray United.
The club – based in Wodonga - confirmed on their Twitter account that Thompson has signed a guest contract for the upcoming season.
It's a homecoming for the 38-year-old former Caltex Socceroo and Melbourne Victory striker, returning to where he played his first football in Australia with Twin City Wanderers.
He's set to play three games and perhaps up to 10, report local media.
