The National Premier Leagues (NPL) returns for 2024 this week with Football Victoria kicking off their Men’s competition on Thursday, 8 February in line with the Domestic Match Calendar (DMC).
The opening round will see last year’s NPL Grand Finalists South Melbourne FC take on Australia Cup 2023 Semi Finalists Melbourne Knights FC at Lakeside Stadium at 8:15pm AEDT.
The following week will see the NSW NPLM Competition take centre stage as Manly United host newly promoted St George FC at Cromer Park on 16 February, the first whistle is at 7:30pm AEDT.
Friday 23 February will mark the commencement of the NPLM Competitions for Football Queensland, Northern NSW Football and Football South Australia. Football Tasmania and Football West will commence their league in March, whilst Capital Football are last cab off the rank, starting in April.
The NPL Women’s Competition will be led by Football Queensland as Lions FC Women’s take on Brisbane City Women’s at Luxury Paints Stadium on Friday, 9 February 2024. Northern NSW Football will start their NPLW campaign with a double fixture showdown on Saturday, 24 February 2024. Football NSW, Football Victoria, Football South Australia, and Football West will begin their NPL Women’s competitions in March with Capital Football kicking off in April.
