PS4 NPL SA Round 9 Preview

A competent and rejuvenated Campbelltown City travel south for an engagement with an awkward Cumberland United side in their PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia Round 9 encounter.

Cumberland United v Campbelltown City

As the saying goes “don’t judge the book by its cover” and that can be said of Cumberland United whose recent performances against the top two sides of the competition, proved they don’t deserve to be anchored at the bottom of the league ladder.

The Foxes have been more than competitive, pushing the current league leader Comets for the full ninety-minutes in their Round 7 match.

Newly appointed coach Neil Young has got the Foxes playing an attacking brand of football that the players are relishing, and opposing sides somewhat wary.

Croydon Kings v Adelaide United Youth

Adelaide United will look to continue their recent good form when they face Croydon Kings in Round 9 of the PlayStation 4 National Premier League at Polonia Reserve on Saturday.

Adelaide United sit 9th on the league standings, following a great run of results which began in the Riverland with a 3-1 win over West Adelaide, a 3-3 draw against Adelaide Blue Eagles and most recently, a triumphant 4-1 win over MetroStars.

As Croydon Kings await their opponent, there is no doubt that the Young Reds will come out in force, and ascend to Croydon’s throne.

Although, fifth-placed Croydon will not be an easy task for United, as they played out a 0-0 draw with the reigning champions, Campbelltown City last week and also slayed Adelaide City in a 0-3 win back in Round 6.
