Round 16 of PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW is in the bag with Manly United the big winners.
Paul Dee’s side put six past a hapless Hakoah outfit to emphasise their position as the competition’s entertainers.
Sydney United 58 was once again in the winner’s circle while APIA also returned to winning ways.
It was a grand final rematch in this week’s Match of the Round with Bonnyrigg White Eagles hosting Blacktown City.

Bonnyrigg White Eagles 2 – Blacktown City 2 at Bonnyrigg Sports Centre
Neither side would give an inch as Blacktown City and Bonnyrigg White Eagles played out tough 2-2 draw at Bonnyrigg Sports Centre on Saturday.
The PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s Round 16 clash was a battle of attrition as last year’s grand final combatants went head to head once again.
An Early Travis Major goal set the tone for the match but it was cancelled out in the 27th minute when Bonnyrigg’s Aaron Peterson hit the back of the net.
Mitchell Mallia gave the visitors the advantage not long after the half time interval but Yuta Kokado’s 68th minute strike ensured both teams went home with a point.

Sydney Olympic FC 0 – Sydney United 58 2 at Belmore Sports Ground
Sydney United 58 continued their dominance of the PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition as they grinded out a 2-0 victory over Sydney Olympic at Belmore Sports Ground on Sunday.
Second half goals to Panni Nikas and Chris Payne was enough for United 58 to collect all three points against their traditional rivals.
Sydney United started slowly but finally hit their straps as the match went on with Olympic unable to hit back on the scoreboard.
Despite the loss, Sydney Olympic gave a debut cap to former Schalke 04 attacker Rene Klingensburg who impressed in his first start.
United 58 stretches its lead at the top of table with Blacktown City now six points behind.

Parramatta FC 3 – Sutherland Sharks 0 at Melita Stadium
Early goals from Joshua Symons and Marco Sama set up a routine victory for Parramatta who beat Sutherland Sharks 3-1 in their PlayStation®4 NPL NSW Men’s Round 16 clash at Melita Stadium.
Sutherland trailed by two goals at the break thanks to the quick-fire double from the Parramatta duo but halved the deficit immediately through Tomihiro Kajiyama’s spot-kick after Eagles defender Ibrahim Haydar was pulled up for a foul inside the box.
However any hopes of a comeback were quelled immediately by the impressive Sama who claimed his second shortly after the Japanese playmaker had pulled one back for the visitors, easing any potential worries for the hosts who cruised to victory untroubled.
The two finals outsiders clashed on a chilly Sunday afternoon hoping to further their finals credentials but Franco Consentino’s side emerged with all the plaudits once more after backing up last weekend’s upset defeat of Blacktown City with another impressive showing at home.

Hakoah Sydney City East 1 – Manly United 6 at Hensley Athletic Field
Manly United potential PlayStation®4 NPL NSW Men’s championship credential on display with a stunning 6-1 victory over Hakoah Sydney City East at Hensley Athletic Field on Sunday.
Manly was at their attacking best with Dejan Pandurevic scoring in the first minute of the game before Sam Gallagher, Luke Giverin and Brendan Cholakian finished the onslaught.
It was a one sided romp with Hakoah’s only saving grace a 35th minute goal to Kevin Lopes.
With a Waratah Cup final on the horizon, Manly are hitting their straps.

Rockdale City Suns 2 – Blacktown Spartans 1 at Ilinden Sports Centre
It wasn’t pretty but Rockdale City Suns were able to hold on to a 2-1 PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s win against Blacktown Spartans at Ilinden Sports Centre on Sunday.
The Suns broke through in the opening stages courtesy of a Dylan Macallister strike before Andre Carle levelled the scores for Blacktown.
A late Alec Urosevski goal won the game in the 77th minute for Rockdale as they continued their climb up the ladder.
It was a much improved performance from Blacktown Spartans who could’ve easily stolen the win.

Wollongong Wolves 1 – APIA Leichhardt 3 at WIN Stadium
Two second half goals has helped APIA Leichhardt Tigers to a 3-1 PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s win over the Wollongong Wolves at WIN Stadium.
It was a dominant performance from APIA Leichhardt with goals to Tasuku Sekiya, Nathan Millgate and Nick Olsen securing all three points for the Lambert Park side.
Nicolas Bernal’s first half strike was the only goal the home side was score in an at time sluggish performance.
Wollongong did have their moments but poor finishing cost the home side when it mattered most.
