Campbelltown City will host Adelaide City in the PlayStation 4 NPL SA 2017 Season opener on Thursday 16 February at Steve Woodcock Sports Centre.
The clash, which doubles as a 2016 Grand Final replay - will be the first ever fixture played under lights at Campbelltown City’s home ground on Stradbroke Road in Newton.
“Opening our 2017 Season with a Grand Final rematch between two great rivals at what will be a transformed venue under lights will be a fantastic occasion,” said Football Federation SA (FFSA) Chief Executive, Michael Carter.
“We’re very excited and privileged to have been asked by FFSA to host the 2017 PlayStation 4 National Premier League Season Opener,” said Campbelltown City Soccer Club Chairman, Paul Centofanti.
“It is guaranteed to be a truly special and unique blockbuster event.”
MetroStars will host West Torrens Birkalla in a replay of last season’s Elimination Final while West Adelaide return to where their 2016 season ended – Polonia Reserve against the Croydon Kings.
Further highlights of the 2017 PlayStation 4 NPL Opening Round include a home game for newly-promoted Para Hills Knights against Adelaide Comets.
