Away teams make their mark in Round 3

West Adelaide jumped to equal second after a come-from-behind win over Raiders in Round 3 of PlayStation 4 NPL South Australia.

White City 1

Adelaide Blue Eagles 4

Adelaide Blues Eagles continued their goal scoring dominance of the PlayStation4 National Premier League with a well orchestrated victory over White City at Frank Mitchell Park to keep them cemented at the top of the league table. 

Under lights in sultry conditions White City took to the field looking to grab full points against top of the ladder leader Blue Eagles, after two come from behind draws in as many weeks.

MetroStars 0

Campbelltown City 0

MetroStars and Campbelltown City played out a 0-0 draw in Round 3 of the South Australia PlayStation4 National Premier League at TK Shutter Reserve on Saturday.

Michael D’Alosio was the closest to breaking the deadlock for the hosts, while Daniel Godley made a string of crucial second half interventions to deny the Red Devils.

Croydon Kings 1

Modbury Jets 1

Modbury Jets held reigning champions Croydon Kings to a 1-1 draw to claim their first point of the season in the round three fixture of the South Australia Playstation4 National Premier League on Saturday night.

Nicholas Green and Rocco Visconte scored in the second half in a result that very much leaves the promoted side the happier of the two.

Raiders 1

West Adelaide 2

West Adelaide jumped to equal second after a come-from-behind win over Raiders in round 3 of the South Australian Playstation4 National Premier League.

Yamin Jamal opened the scoring for the home side from the penalty spot, while second half goals from Tom Briscoe and Nathan Andijanto put West Adelaide in front. The visitors managed to hold on for the win, despite going down to ten men after Ricardo Da Silva was sent off in the final minutes.

The other Round 3 results saw WT Birkalla edge out Para Hills Knights 3-2, Pirates go down 2-1 at home to Adelaide Comets, and Adelaide City overrun South Adelaide 3-2.
